Note: The EasyFind Digital LNBF will work as a LNBF with any receiver. EasyFind Technology (the LED indicator) works only when the receiver and the EasyFind Digital LNBF are used together.
How it works
- When the receiver's dish setup menu is open, the receiver activates the Easy Find circuitry, putting the LNB in LED mode. When the user exits the setup menu, the receiver takes the LNB out of LED mode. When the dish is being used for regular TV viewing, the LED is never lit.
- From the setup menu, the user can select any satellite on the drop down list or enter frequency and S/R to define a custom entry. Once a satellite is selected, the Easy Find will only measure that satellite's signal.
LED codes:
- RED = no signal,
- YELLOW = signal acquired above 50%,
- GREEN = signal maximized and locked,
- The on-board microcontroller compares the signal strength to the highest peak and displays different LED colors to let the installer see where the signal is strongest.
- Aiming the dish really is as easy as 1-2-3. The optimal azimuth and elevation can be set even by inexperienced installers, allowing proper dish aiming in 5 minutes.
